Alyssa Healy has been sidelined from the WBBL due to a finger injury.

Alyssa Healy, the wicketkeepr-batter representing Australia and the Sydney Sixers, will be absent for the entire Women’s Big Bash League season due to a finger injury. This injury occurred when her right index finger was bitten while attempting to separate her two Staffordshire bull terrier puppies, resulting in a laceration that necessitated surgical treatment.

Expressing her disappointment, Healy stated, “I had hoped for better news, as I have a deep affection for competing in the WBBL and for the Sydney Sixers. Right now, my primary focus will be on making a complete recovery and returning to the game when the time is right. In the meantime, I will continue to sped time with the Sixer’s team and offer my assistance to help the squad and the cclub succeed throughout the remainder of the competition. I will also take pleasure in watching the WBBL from a distance as the tournament continues to grow and excel.

As of now, the Sydney are in seventh place on the points and have yet to secure a victory after three matches.
