Shubman Gill, who is recovering, as well as Pakistan, arrive in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad has received Shubman Gill. The young opener was traveling from Chennai to Ahmedabad while India was playing Afghanistan at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. The young player had dengue fever. He arrived in Gujarat City late on Wednesday.

The 24-year-old opener’s ability to participate in the crucial match against Pakistan is still unknown, but signs point to improvement. He returned to the hotel after spending the previous night at the Kaurvery Hospital in Chennai, and today he flew to Ahmedabad.

According to representatives of the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA), Gill is healthy enough to fly, according to a hospital’s doctors, who confirmed this to Cricbuzz. Due to his low platelet count and the unfavorable nature of the flight, he was unable to travel to Delhi with his teammates.

On Saturday, October 14, the match against Pakistan will take place at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium. Gill has not yet participated in the current World Cup because of a fever.

Pak team pleased with security measures

The Pakistani team arrived in Ahmedabad on Wednesday afternoon under heavy security. From Hyderabad, where they were stationed for two weeks, they flew to the city. A member of the Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) told this website that the team management was briefed about the security arrangements for the Babar Azam players upon arrival and that the management was pleased with the facilities.

On Thursday night, the team will practice at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Thursday afternoon will see the arrival of the Indian team.

Obtaining visas for Pakistani journalists

The Indian government has begun issuing visas to the Pakistani media in the interim. On the other hand, it is currently unknown whether World Cup attendees will be allowed to cross the border. It has been confirmed that at least a dozen Pakistani media representatives will be able to visit Ahmedabad prior to the high-stakes marquee match.

About 25 of the 60 journalists who applied for World Cup visas have received approval to visit India thus far.
