After securing a flawless 3-0 victory in the T20I series, Australia have now shifted their focus to the upcoming five-match ODI series against South Africa. This ODI series is seen as crucial preparation for both teams as they gear up for the highly anticipated ODI World Cup 2023, slated to be held in India.
South Africa are determined to redeem themselves and seek revenge from Australia in the 50-over format after T20I whitewash. They will be eager to turn the tables and regain their competitive edge.
Mitchell Marsh’s Australian side is brimming with confidence and will be looking to replicate their recent heroics. On the other hand, the Proteas will be boosted by the return of several key players, including Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje and Quinton de Kock.
The series is set to kick off with the first two matches taking place in Bloemfontein, followed by the third in Potchefstroom. The fourth match will be held in Centurion, while the fifth ODI is slated to be played in Johannesburg.
